Spatfeather is an inclusive ensemble of artists and theatre-makers. Calling on song-led performance traditions and an irreverent blend of influences, we create work that engages unheard voices and celebrates the serendipity of collaboration.
Following up on successful national and international runs of The Liberation of Colette Simple, we are in the early stages of devising inclusive new work for 2017.
Spatfeather runs a weekly choir for adults with learning disabilities at Bishop Creighton House in London. Today we’re in the process of building and extending our public programme.
In conjunction with the Rocket Artists and Brighton University, company founder Nathalie Carrington is currently undertaking research in inclusive practice, identity and social narrative.
“A plucky experiment in theatrical form, witty edge and energy”
